Why track the number of books you read in a year when some books are over 700 pages while others are only 200? Tracking pages is so much better! Come join
@piratesnpixdust and I on a 2018 #PageTrackers adventure! I am so excited for this challenge! I love tracking all things concerning reading on my own but I’ve never found a challenge that tracked anything other than the number of book, which can tend to be a little frustrating. I hate it when I read a book thats 400+ pages and someone else reads a book thats 100 and it counts the same! I love tracking the pages I read because it gives me a better sense of how much I’m actually reading versus just a snapshot. Thats where Dominique ( @piratesnpixdust) and I come in! We decided to start the #PageTrackers challenge just for that reason!
If you want to participate in the challenge sign up right HERE.
We also have a newsletter that you can sign up for, it will be sent out once a month and will contain all things pertaining to the #PageTrackers and other fun! Sign up for it HERE.
We will also be holding a monthly twitter chat so make sure to follow both of us on twitter! Just click our names to follow us!
Each week we will be posting our own progress and updates on our blogs! I will be posting on Wednesdays and Dominique will be posting one day as well (just click her name for her blog link!).
For every 10,000 pages that are read and tracked we will be adding a book on the shelf! Help us fill up the shelves by tracking your pages here!
If you have any questions about the challenge just ask we are happy to answer anything!
Wondering how many pages you want to pledge to read? Look back on what books you read in January and see how many pages you ended up reading. (There is actually a way to check this in Goodreads stats) If I’m January you read more than usual, aim a little lower. If you read less than usual, aim a little higher. I ended up reading 19 books in January and totaling over 6,000 pages. I’ve never read that much before in just one month! And I likely never will again. I decided to try for 50,000 for the rest of 2018. It’s about 4,000 pages a month and I already had the goal to read 10 books a month so I think it’s totally feasible.
Now onto my personal goals!
I am hoping to read a grand total of 50,000 pages from February to December 2018! I am so excited to see how much I can read for the rest of 2018!
